Biography:
Dorota Mytych (b. in Poland) is a multidisciplinary artist. She works with painting, drawing, sculpture and installation as well as video. In 1996 she completed a degree in Fine Arts at the Accademia di Belle Arti in Florence, Italy. Recent exhibitions have been held in Australia at Nellie Castan Gallery, Melbourne (2012); Museum of Contemporary Art, Sydney (2011) and at the Roswell Museum in New Mexico (2010).

In 2010, she was Artist-in-Residence at the Roswell Museum and Art Centre; in 2009 in Switzerland, as part of the Residency Stein am Rhein and in Italy in the Bogliasco Foundation Fellowship. Her work is held in numerous public and private collections nationally and internationally. She divides her time among Poland, Italy, Australia, and the US.
